Detroit restaurant is the home of the beef ribs

BBQ Central has two locations

Summer means it’s time to enjoy the smoky flavors of barbecue. However, you don’t have to fire up the grill or smoker yourself. Instead, BBQ Central in Detroit is serving up a taste of barbecue that you can bring home.

Denita Ramsey and her son, Curtis Ramsey, are the owners of BBQ Central, which is the self-proclaimed home of the beef ribs. The menu also includes turkey chops, rib tips, wings, salmon, catfish, and more. When it comes to sides, BBQ Central has a variety of options like mac & cheese, candied yams, collard greens, baked beans, and green beans, along with other items.

BBQ Central will be celebrating five years of business this September. They have two locations in Detroit. One restaurant is located at 13300 W. 7 Mile Road, and the other is at 18456 Grand River Avenue. To celebrate their appearance on “Live In The D”, BBQ Central is offering a special deal of the day on June 25th. Customers can buy one dinner and get a 1 lb. dinner free.
