A family in Detroit is carrying on a legacy of lifting up people during times of need.
Because of His Love Outreach was started back in 2008 by Alwyn Walker and Vickee Walker. Although Alwyn passed away in 2015, the mission has continued. Other family members have stepped in to help, including Alywn and Vickee’s daughter, Lesley Gant.
Because of His Love provides outreach to a variety of people in need, including pregnant women, children, those struggling with mental health issues, people facing financial or housing struggles, and more. Because of His Love Outreach offers services like support groups and community programs.
