If you’re a fan of jazz music, there’s some new music being released. Nate Topo is releasing his debut full-length album titled “Time of Monsters”. Topo appeared on “Live in the D” to talk about his new album and to perform one of his new songs.
One of Topo’s main goal through his music is to inspire others. He has a host of people on his new album including fellow jazz musicians Ralphe Armstrong and Gale McKinney both of whom have appeared on “Live in the D”.
“I’ve been working on the album for more than a year now and it was very important for me to have multiple generations play on the album. We had over a dozen people play on this. Anyone from college professors to people who are even younger than me,” said Topo.
Topo has a CD release event at The Blue Llama on Thursday July 18th. You can find his music on Spotify and Apple Music.
