Ever had a mirror that just didn’t fit well with the rest of a room? Well, Tracy Stanton has had this problem and found a way to repurpose her mirror accordingly. With the help of Local 4 Style Editor Jon Jordan, Stanton revealed her mirror-on-the-wall style story.
Stanton likes to repurpose things and when her late mother lived with her, Stanton wanted place a mirror in the room her mother would be staying in. However, the mirror had leopard print to it and that was something her mother did not appreciate. Instead of throwing the mirror away, Stanton got wrapping paper and some glue to refurbish the style of the mirror to better suit the room.
A mirror can have a huge effect on a room. So, it’s no question why her mother wanted it out of her room. Jordan shared that a series of mirrors is another way to dramatically change a rooms aesthetic.
“You can literally make a small room look bigger and a dark room look brighter,” said Jordan.
