Country music stars take the stage in Michigan

Michigan native and ‘The Voice’ contestant performs this weekend

Some of the biggest names in Country music will be taking the stage in Michigan this weekend. From Lainey Wilson to Old Dominion, Jelly Roll, and more. The lineup is packed for the Faster Horses Music Festival in Brooklyn and one of the performers, Michigan native Sadie Bass, joined “Live in the D” via zoom to chat about it.

“Honestly this is so crazy. Me and my family think, ‘How did she pull this off?’” Bass said, when asked how she feels going from a fan attending the show to this year being on stage.

She said the opportunity has been years in the making. She will be performing a couple of songs about Michigan, as well as some new releases that people will get to hear before they come out.

The fest will not be the first big stage for Bass, she competed on season 22 of “The Voice.”

Faster Horses is happening this Friday through Sunday in Brooklyn, Michigan. Tickets are still available.
