A new Netflix film premieres Friday and it stars Grammy Award-winning artist and Emmy Award-winning actor, Harry Conick Jr.. Conick Jr. has more than 30 million records sold worldwide and he’s stepping back on the screen for the movie Find Me Falling. Conick Jr. appeared on “Live in the D” to talk about his role in the new movie.
Conick Jr. plays a Rockstar named John who’s trying to start a new life after an album flop. While creating a new life for himself old flames reignite. Conick Jr. shared that he and John’s careers started in a very similar way but that’s where the similarities end since John makes some bad choices in the film.
Conick Jr. described the film as a romantic comedy with a twist, featuring lots of music. For him, the movie revolves around the theme of losing your spark and allowing others to help you identify what truly matters in life.
“There was a lot of scenes that were really moving so it (Find Me Falling) was a pleasure to do,” said Conick Jr..
Conick Jr. wrote the song “Find Me Falling” for the film and he was surprised when it ended up being what the movie was named after.
