Fans are going wild for this band coming to Detroit

Wilderado takes the St. Andrews stage next week

Wilderado is an indie folk band from Tulsa, Oklahoma whose cover of the song “Wall of Death” is currently featured on the Twisters movie soundtrack.

Lead singer of the band, Max Rainer, joined “Live in the D” host Tati Amare to talk about their album and upcoming performance in Detroit.

Rainer said having the song on the Twisters soundtrack came together rather quickly, a producer asked him to put vocals on the track and the turn around happened fast.

Wilderado’s upcoming album is titled “Talker”, and Rainer says the goal is to make sure the sound resonates with the bands current state. “It feels representative of what the band is going through.”

When asked what he’s learned about nerves when hitting the stage Rainer said, “If you can control your breath, the rest of your body will follow.”

He also said it’s all about having fun. Fans can experience the fun on July 31st at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit.
