One of the biggest investments you can make to protect your home is your roof, but you could be shelling out more money than you need to for roofing. Mike Harvey, the founder and owner of The Roof Resource, appeared on “Live In The D” to break down roofing by the numbers.
Harvey shared a personal story of why he started The Roof Resource. He used to have a different roofing company with a partner, but Harvey decided to change his route when he realized that he was providing roofing for his family at cost, which was a different price than what he was charging a customer.
“I stood at my grandmother’s home and I looked at her roof and I looked down the street and I said, if I can do this for family, why can’t I do that for everyone?” Harvey said he left his former company and modeled out The Roof Resource.
The Roof Resource provides a virtual experience for homeowners. Harvey said that customers never have to have someone in their home and they get cost for the entire experience. He also said that homeowners can get choose from a variety of different single colors and brands all at the same price.
When it comes to the timeframe, Harvey explained that the Roof Resource can install a new roof within 7 to 10 days.
