Instead of just cinnamon and sugar, a new spot in Troy is packing a punch of different flavors when it comes to churros.
While appearing on “Live In The D”, Maria Aldana from La Niña Churreria in Troy explained that a churro is a fried dough pastry.
The menu at La Niña Churreria offers churro flavors like caramel, chocolate, lecherita, custard, tiramisu, pina colada, dulce de leche, pistachio raspberry, mango habanero, and more. They also serve gelato and coffee.
Aldana explained that “La Niña” means the girl in Spanish. She shared the story of how she sold bread from the street in Mexico and hopes to motivate and encourage others.
La Niña Churreria is located at 2886 West Maple Road in Troy.
