Join this nationally renowned group in Detroit

They’re looking to fill 100 spots this season

The Detroit Youth Choir has gained national attention on America’s Got Talent and they even have their own docuseries on Disney+. Now, the famous group is looking to add to the choir. They stopped by “Live In The D” to perform and talk about their search for new team members.

Artistic Director, Anthony White, says they are looking for kids that have a love for music. They don’t have to be the best singer, but must show passion. He also says they are looking for a presence when someone walks into the room.

DYC Primetime choir member Mya Horne had a word of advice for hopefuls. “The number one thing is confidence for sure.” She added that since joining DYC she’s unpacked her own self confidence.

August 21st is the last day for video submissions and the DYC is accepting walk in auditions on August 24th.
