How influencer Erin Joris went from blogging to brand partnerships in Metro Detroit

Content creation has become a brewing passion for people all over the world. However, to be successful it takes a lot more effort than just talking into your phone and putting it on the internet.

Erin Joris is a growing influencer who knows the process firsthand. Erin specializes in content creation and social media management and has more than 12,000 followers on Instagram. Her biggest viral moment was getting more than 24 million views on a single video.

Erin appeared on “Live In The D” to share her story during Influencer Week. She started a blog when she had some free time in 2018. Erin explained that she had just moved into a new house and was decorating and organizing. She started to document the process, and then began posting on Instagram. Erin said she had her first gifted collaboration within three months and her first paid partnership within six months. She’s worked with Google, eBay Sneakers, Warby Parker, and more.

Becoming an influencer didn’t happen overnight, and it involved a lot of work on Erin’s part. She spent years cultivating good relationships with brands and small businesses so that she could diversify her income and not only be an influencer but also offer small businesses help with content creation.
