This Shelby Township restaurant offers more than yummy food

A classic arcade and rows of corn hole can be enjoyed by all

When you walk into One Eyed Jacks restaurant located on Van Dyke in Shelby Township, you may be surprised by the size. “This is a large facility, 12,000 sq ft,” said Co-Owner Bob Stein. The reason the family owned facility is so huge is because it’s not your average restaurant.

“We have over 30 games all from the 80s and 90s,” Stein said, talking about the full arcade they have.

In addition, they also have 9 lanes of cornhole that are open to the public, as well play host to big tournaments. Stein said they will also soon add a golf simulator to add even more fun.

Although this place is fun for all ages, when it comes to the menu, it’s not all games. They take food serious. Stein said it cost a bit more but they use all fresh ingredients. Though they have a full bar, their dishes aren’t just bar food, like the popular buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Stein describes the tater tots as, “Tater tots on steroids.”
