Everyone’s style and needs are unique, so why shouldn’t that be the case when it comes to your closet space? Customizing the organizational spaces in your home could be just what your family needs.
The entrance to your home is a high-traffic area and the first place you see, so creating an organized space can help cut down on the chaos right when you walk in the door. The mudroom is a great place to have organization for each member of the family, explained Eric Kiekbusch, the Vice President of Sales and Operations with Closets by Design. While giving a tour of the Closets by Design showroom in Oxford, he talked about the need for organization, especially during the winter season in Michigan.
Another space highlighted during the tour was a kid’s closet. The design included features like triple hanging rods and adding shelves. Kiekbusch explained that as the child grows, the closet can grow with them, thanks to adjustments like removing or lowering a hanging rod.
When it comes to the parents’ closet, the Closets by Design showroom featured a walk-in closet with “his and hers” sides. However, the closet spaces can be customized to meet each customer’s individual needs, explained Kiekbusch.
Aside from the closets in your home, you can also improve the organization of your pantries and offices.
