Autumn is just around the corner, and pumpkin spice lattes aren’t the only way you can say cheers to the flavors of fall. Griffin Claw Brewing Company’s fall brews are also flowing.
The brewing company’s seasonal drinks are Oktoberfest, Screamin’ Pumpkin Ale, and Screamin’ Pumpkin Whiskey.
“It’s definitely quintessential fall in a glass,” Griffin Claw Brewing Company head brewer Jacob Choate said when referring to Screamin’ Pumpkin Ale. He explained that it’s made with layered spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, all-spice, clove, and ginger.
Griffin Claw’s Screamin’ Pumpkin Whiskey came to fruition after they made too much pumpkin ale one year, explained Christopher Lasher, the marketing director with Griffin Claw Brewing Company. He said they decided to distill it down into a whiskey, which created another option for enjoying the seasonal flavor.
