The Halloween season is upon us, and there’s a new Disney+ series sure to put you in the spooky spirit. Marvel’s favorite witch, Agatha Harkness, is set to return to the screen in “Agatha All Along”, bringing a fresh dose of supernatural intrigue.
The series picks up where “Wandavision” left off with Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) stripped of her powers. In this new adventure, a mysterious teen, simply referred to as “Teen,” helps break Agatha free from a spell. His interest in witchcraft leads him to ask for her help in navigating the legendary Witches’ Road a treacherous magical path that promises to restore what a witch has lost. Together, Agatha and Teen assemble a coven and embark on this perilous journey.
Actor Joe Locke, who plays Teen, spoke with “Live in the D” host Tati Amare to discuss the new series. When asked about where the story begins, Locke explained that the series picks up right after “WandaVision”. Teen is a fan of witchcraft, and working alongside Agatha and her coven is a dream come true for him, much like Locke’s own experience in joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The show features an exciting ensemble cast, including Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, Debra Jo Rupp, Patti LuPone, and Aubrey Plaza.
“Agatha All Along’s” two-episode premiere streams on Disney+ September 18th
