The Hawk Theatre in the City of Farmington Hills is currently in their 2024/2025 season which will run through Thursday, June 19, 2025. Located within the City’s award-winning recreation venue, The Hawk, the theatre’s third season features Grammy Award-winning and nominated musicians, tributes to musical legends, as well as partnerships with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the University of Michigan and Chamber Soloists of Detroit. It’s all to expose diverse art to Metro Detroit audiences and high caliber performing arts experiences.
The theatre’s Cultural Arts Programmer, Lindsay Janoch, stopped by “Live in the D” to talk more about the season. Janoch says the main stage, which holds 762 seats, has a bevy of series including a tribute to musical greats like Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.
Over in the smaller black box theatre, there are events like the jazz series where attendees will see the black box transformed into an intimate jazz club with live music, candle-lit tables and a bar serving classic cocktails.
The Hawk Theatre also holds nonmusical events like the upcoming Antiques 12 Mile Road show which will include appraisals and lectures.
All of these events and more are reasonably priced, and there are even free performances on the schedule.
