It’s no secret that many fashion trends have a lasting impact, and Vamp nail polish is one of them. This year marks 30 years since the iconic nail polish phenom.
“Thirty years ago Chanel introduced a color called Vamp, and it was deep, deep, deep red to the point of where it’s almost black,” Local 4 Style Editor Jon Jordan said. “Vamp was a game changer because it opened the flood gates for every color from the rainbow and more to be come a nail polish option.”
While appearing on “Live In The D” demonstrated how you can create a custom vamp nail polish look on your own by using a red base and adding black nail polish to it.
Jon also talked about fall nail polish trends like the color olive green, along with graduated nails which Jon described as intentionally using different shades of nail polish.
