Celebrating ‘Mean Girls’ day with actor Tim Meadows

The principal from the movies was in the studio

For fans of the movie “Mean Girls”, they all know that October 3rd is “Mean Girls” day. Why? It has to do with a scene from the movie with Lindsay Lohan when her crush asks her what day it is and she says, “It’s October 3rd.” Thus the day that celebrates wearing pink, “The Plastics”, and the Burn Book was born.

On “Live In The D” host Tati Amare got a chance to talk with actor and guest-host Tim Meadows about playing the role of Principal Duvall in the original movie and the musical remake released at the beginning of this year.

Click the video player above to hear what he had to say about the role, the movie, and working with his friend and fellow “Saturday Night Live” alum Tina Fey.

You can also see Tim Meadows perform standup comedy at a show coming up at the Flagstar Strand Theatre in Pontiac on October 12th. For ticket information, click here.
