The Detroit Pistons are gearing up for next season and you can get in on the excitement. This weekend they will host an open practice and you can go for free. It’s happening at Wayne State Fieldhouse, the home of the Pistons’ G League affiliate, the Motor City Cruise. Bilal Saeed, VP of Brand and Marketing Strategy, stopped by “Live In The D” with mascot Hooper to talk about what’s being planned, and to surprise guest-host Tim Meadows who is a big Pistons fan.
“Saturday, we’ve got our open practice“, said Saeed. “That’s the fans’ first chance to come check out the new team. 11 o’clock are the doors on Saturday... It’s going to be a real intimate laid back vibe. But there’s very limited tickets left.”
In addition to the open practice, there is a new logo that will be on the Pistons’ jersey this year. StockX is now in partnership with the team and will have their logo on the front of jerseys.
