The Joker is back this weekend

A psychological thriller has big stars with big performances

Christopher Reeve was known for his legendary role as Superman but he was also a husband, father and survivor. The new Warner Brothers documentary will feature archived footage of his life, interviews with former colleagues and for the first time, extended interviews with his three children. Movie Reviewer Greg Russell says the film’s 100 percent rating on rotten tomatoes is well deserved. He gives “Super/Man” four out of five reels.

Russell also talked about “Joker: Folie a Deux” which is the sequel to the Joaquin Phoenix led franchise. This time around, Lady Gaga costars as Harley Quinn. Russell says it’s all about the twisted minds of two people and tells a dark tale. There’s also a musical aspect that Russell says works well in the film. He gives “Joker: Folie a Deux” three out of five reels

Finally, “It’s What’s Inside” is a dark body-swap comedy that also lends itself to the thriller genre. A group of college friends reunite the night before one of them is set to be married. They use a device to swap bodies and horror ensues. Russell gives “It’s What’s Inside” two out of five reels.
