Pianist, composer, producer and arranger Demetrius “Krayon” Nabors is well known in the Detroit area for his contemporary jazz style. He joined “Live in the D” with his band to perform an original piece for Music Monday.
When asked to describe his sound, Nabors said it’s a hybrid of jazz, blues and classical with influences from the music he heard growing up in church.
Ahead of his performance of “Ascend”, Nabors promoted his upcoming shows in November at the Dirty Dog Jazz Café
