Rock into the holidays with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra

The rock group is coming to Detroit this winter

The sounds of the holiday season are almost here, and that includes music from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO). The TSO is getting ready to launch its winter tour, which will include a stop in Detroit.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra isn’t your typical holiday concert. Instead, it’s a rock show filled with pyrotechnics and lasers.

“We try to make it bigger and better every single year,” said TSO vocalist Kayla Reeves. “We love coming to Detroit Rock City. It’s one of the greatest stops on the tour.”

This year, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is bringing back “The Lost Christmas Eve” show to the stage for the first time since 2013.

“One of the bonuses is going to be that the technology has improved so much over the period of time that our crew can now present it to you guys in a way that they couldn’t have even dreamed up a dozen years ago, so it will be our biggest and best show yet,” said TSO musical director Al Pitrelli.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be performing two shows at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday, December 28th. Tickets can be purchased online.
