Detroit Tigers unleash a block party for fans ahead of ALDS Game 3

It’s an action-packed day of festivities

Last night with an epic drone show, the Detroit Tigers “unlocked the orange” and today as everyone wears orange in preparation for the game against the Cleveland Guardians, there is a huge block party just outside of Comerica Park.

“Live in the D” reporter Lauren Turner stepped into the action and spoke with Vice President of marketing for the Detroit Tigers, Asia Gholston, to talk all things Tigers.

Gholston said the block party will have face painting, food trucks, local breweries, and several Detroit area DJs.

When asked how she and her team planned this party so quickly, Gholston said she knew they had to do something special for the fans to make sure they had the best time.

And plans for Game 4? Another Block Party tomorrow, October 10th starting at 3: 00 p.m. right outside Comerica Park
