There’s a new place in Ann Arbor that’s adding a twist to your traditional breakfast toast. Instead of just butter or jam, Toastique is serving up toast loaded with flavorful toppings.
“Toastique is a gourmet toast and juice bar”, explained franchisee Candace Kovar, who is the owner of Toastique Ann Arbor.
One of the most popular items on their menu is the Avocado Smash, which features toast topped with mashed up avocado, marinated tomatoes, onions, vinegars and oils, Maldon salt, a drizzle of housemade chili oil, and microgreens.
Toastique is embracing the flavors of fall with their toast of the month for October. The Sweet Potato Hash Toast is made with avocado smash, sweet potato hash, cilantro lime cream and cilantro on toasted rustico bread.
The restaurant also offers smoothies, coffee, and acai bowls that can be customized. Toastique is located at 200 E. Washington Street in downtown Ann Arbor. Watch the video above to learn more.
