The mild weather is sticking around and if you’re looking to get out and enjoy it, there’s some fun events happening around metro Detroit to get you out.
First, it’s a much anticipated event happening in Downtown Detroit. Cider in the City is back at Beacon Park. The annual event brings all the seasonal goodies, fall themed mocktails and cocktails, horse drawn hay rides, pumpkin painting, lawn games, and of course cider and donuts. It’s happening Saturday and Sunday this weekend, and next weekend.
Next up, head over to Ann Arbor for the Artober Fest Fine Art Fair. The 4th annual event will feature 100 jury selected artists, food, live entertainment, craft cocktails, vendors, and more. It’s happening Saturday and Sunday, in Downtown Ann Arbor.
Up next, New Boston is having their Harvest Fest. The family friendly event will feature hayrides along a forested trail, crafts, nature activities, stories around a camp fire, and more. The little ones are encouraged to wear kid friendly costumes. The festival is happening Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Crosswinds Marsh.
Finally, it may be Fall, but it’s not time to put away your classic ride. Friends With Classic Cars will meet up and show off their cool classic rides. The event will feature vehicles built in or before 1994, and visitors will have a chance to show off their treasured wheels while viewing others. It’s happening, Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Eltheldra Mae Williams park in Detroit.
