You might know him for singing songs like “Happy” or producing hits for other music artists, but now there’s a biopic that’s giving fans a brand new look at the life of Pharrell Williams.
“Piece By Piece” is a LEGO-animated movie, explained movie reviewer Greg Russell.
“He grew up playing with Lego. He also talks about when he was a kid he would listen to music and see colors, so that’s how he would use his imagination to write songs and create music,” Greg said, referring to Williams. “He figured that this would also be a great way to have kids watch it with their parents and try to go out and create things on their own.”
The movie features the voices of Pharrell, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Gwen Stefani, and others.
“Piece By Piece” is rated PG. Greg gave the movie four reels of out a possible five reels.
Another new movie is “Saturday Night”, which is about what played out before the first ever episode of “Saturday Night Live”.
“This movie is exactly 90 minutes because it’s about the 90 minutes before they go on the air,” Greg said.
Greg also gave “Saturday Night” a rating of four reels.
