You might feel the love in the air because Sweetest Day is this Saturday. It’s a day that’s all about doing something sweet for your loved ones.
To talk about Sweetest Day celebrations, “Live In The D” host Tati Amare and guest-host comedian T.Barb were joined by comedian Dave Mischevitz and Vanessa Cohen, the co-founder of the Cohen Brand and the creator of Motor City Date Night.
First, the group talked about whether they celebrate Sweetest Day.
“I’m going to not celebrate this year just because I found out it was founded in Cleveland, and so after the Tigers lost I’m going to protest Sweetest Day,” Dave said. “I’m going to hope my wife is on board with it.”
Vanessa, on the other hand, plans to celebrate Sweetest Day.
“Of course I’m going to celebrate with my sweetie,” Vanessa said.
The conversation also included talking about the best way to celebrate or best gifts to give on Sweetest Days.
Dave joked that the best present is gift cards from Christmas. He said the worst gift would be blank card and then if you cross off the real meaning to write something different.
Vanessa said that her love language is not getting gifts, but instead, having experiences.
