October is national book month which means it’s a time to honor the power of reading and writing. There are so many talented authors throughout Metro Detroit including Endeah Canty. When Canty became a mom, she realized there weren’t enough books that she and her daughter resonated with, so she decided to write her own. She currently has two books published and is winner of several author awards.
“I see God” follows a curious young boy and his mother as they begin to explore the wonders of God in everyday life. They discover God in the whispers of the wind, warmth of the sun, and serenity of the night sky.
“The Magical Shell” is about a little boy on family beach day who discovers a large shell buried deep in the sand. He decides to look inside and whoosh! He finds himself spiraling deep into the ocean and mingling with all of the creatures under the sea.
