Events for adults, families, and kiddos, happen this weekend

From pottery to beer there’s a lot going on

Fall is showing its beautiful colors, and if you‘re looking to get out and have some fun, there‘s plenty to do this weekend.

First, you can check out an indoor, unique event. You‘ve probably heard of paint and pour, but what about sip and spin? Learn to create pottery while enjoying an open bar. The 21 and up event, that’s open to all skills levels is happening Friday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the The Hawk, in Farmington Hills.

Another event for the grown-ups is being held by The Michigan Brewers Guild. It’s their annual Detroit Fall Beer Festival. The event returns for its 15th year and will feature an outdoor celebration of Michigan beer from hundreds of local companies. The festival happens Saturday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Eastern Market.

Next, an event for the kiddos. The Little Goblins at Ford House is happening on Saturday. While decked out in Halloween costumes, the little ones can enjoy trick-or-treating, photo opportunities, hayrides, and more. The fun will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1100 Lake Shore Drive in Grosse Point Shores.

Lastly, another event for the entire family happens at the Village of Rochester Hills. The Monster Mash Halloween party will feature a DJ, stilt walkers, juggles, pumpkin decorating, and more. The party happens Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 104 N. Adams Road in Rochester Hills.
