Bringing flowers into your home during fall is a great way to enhance the cozy, seasonal vibe. Jeffrey Jucewicz of Jeffrey Floral Architecture joined “Live in the D” and Local 4 Style Editor Jon Jordan to share some creative ways to design autumnal floral arrangements.
For a simple but elegant centerpiece, Jucewicz started by placing bittersweet in a large vase and adding millet. He noted that negative space can enhance the overall look, so there’s no need to fill every gap. He then used mums to decorate a bowl of red apples, showing how you can blend flowers with seasonal produce to create a beautiful, warm centerpiece.
Jucewicz also demonstrated how to make an entryway more inviting for fall. Using grapevine wrapped around the doorframe, he added small pumpkins and artificial leaves to create a festive fall look.
