He may steal Christmas, but everyone still loves him

Mr. Grinch is coming back to Detroit and he wants you to have fun with him

It‘s a story that dates back to 1957, and over the decades we‘ve all grown to know the main character. The Grinch is going to be on stage in Detroit this holiday season in “Dr. Seuss‘ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical!” Before he’s on stage at The Fox Theatre November 27 through December 1, he appeared on “Live In The D” with host Tati Amare and guest-host T. Barb to talk about what people can expect. And he brought his ginchy-ness with him.

The show itself is based on the famous book that has been turned into a TV Christmas special, and multiple movies. In this stage version, you will see a similar story set to brand new musical performances including songs sung by Mr. Grinch himself.

All your favorite characters from the book will be on stage as well from Cindy Lou Who to Mr. Grinch’s dog Max.

“There is a lot of Whos singing and dancing, which isn‘t always my favorite, but because it‘s about me I’ll let it slide this once,” said Mr. Grinch.
