Reba McEntire is back in a brand new sitcom

It‘s a little bit ’Cheers' with a whole lot of Reba

Right now, you can see Reba McEntire on “The Voice” on NBC as she works to put together a winning team she can coach. And, starting tonight, you can also see her in the brand new sitcom “Happy’s Place”. McEntire and co-star Belissa Escobado appeared on “Live In The D” and spoke with host Tati Amare about their new show, and their sisterhood.

In the show, Reba‘s character Bobbie is left her family bar that was run by her late father and she finds out it’s also been left to her half-sister that she never knew about played by Escobedo.

“It‘s been fun. The age difference. The growing up. I had a dad, she didn‘t, she had her mom, we still haven’t figured where my mom was,” said Reba.

As the show progresses, viewers will see how old-school and new-age blend together to run a business and establish a family relationship.

“Right away you‘ve got these two big personalities,” said Escobedo. “But, I think Isabella from the get-go is just searching for a connection. She didn‘t have the biggest family growing up, and so when she has an opportunity to have this brand new family, a sister, that’s a big deal.”

They said throughout the show you’ll see how the dynamic works, and also how creates some issues.
