Known for his powerful voice and dynamic fusion of gospel and R&B, Grammy Award-nominated artist Dietrich Haddon has captivated audiences and made a significant impact in music overall. He stopped by “Live in the D” to chat about some upcoming projects, and performances, and how his career started.
“I just really wanted to represent Detroit,” Haddon said, talking about the early days of making music.
He describes his sound as a gumbo of everything, where he gets his influence from all music.
Haddon said he’s currently on tour, with a stop planned in Detroit November 30th. There will be two performances, at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., at the Music Hall.
Haddon also mentioned a special upcoming project.
