She is a reality TV personality, producer, entrepreneur, and mom, and now you can add author to that list of accomplishments. Detroit native Kenya Moore has released a new book she co-authored with her daughter Brooklyn that’s all about sharing their travel adventures. The book is titled “Brooklyn Bound: Paris“ and Moore appeared on ”Live In The D" to talk about the book with host Tati Amare.
Moore said her daughter loves to read and they share a love for travel. “A lot of her friends are always curious about her travels,” said Moore. “And we thought, let’s make this book about her travels and all of the things she learned while visiting these places with amazing new cultures to learn about.”
She hopes that the story helps kids and adults learn that the world is bigger than their own backyard. She also wants people to be inspired to know they are global citizens, not just citizens of the city where they live.
