Dogs aren’t called “man’s best friend” without a reason. The bond between humans and animals is apparent, and this week is all about recognizing that special connection. Human-Animal Relationship Awareness Week runs from November 10th through November 16th this year.
If you’re looking to add a pet to the family, dogs and cats aren’t your only options. Michigan Humane has multiple animals in need of adoption. One of them is a 4-year-old guinea pig named Ham. He is a tri-colored guinea pig who is described as “gentle” and “affectionate”. Ham also has a guinea pig friend named Pineapple who needs a home as well.
