These Christmas trees are something to see in Warren

You can vote for your favorite one and help a local charity

It‘s time to get into the holiday spirit. Christmas decorations are up in stores everywhere, but some of the Christmas trees you see at one store in Warren are there for a good cause. It‘s all part of Twinkle Town at Gardner White’s flagship store that brings together different people to decorate trees for charity.

This year, “Live In The D” decorated a tree in support of the charity Fish & Loaves in Taylor. Each tree has a theme and the “Live In The D” team picked Under The Sea for their inspiration. Local 4 Style Editor Jon Jordan helped design the look by wrapping blue lights up and down the center of the tree to create a sea look. He also adorned the tree with an abstract placement of pearls to mimic them floating in water. This along with sea themed ornaments, and a garland to mimic seaweed brought everything together.

Guests to Twinkle Town can vote for their favorite tree and the one that gets the most vote receives $10,000 for the charity of their choice.

The CEO of Gardner White, Rachel Stewart, said the Twinkle Town event is all for families and kids in the community to gather for fun. She also says there are 20 trees in all that guests can vote on.

Twinkle Town opens tonight at the Gardner White in Warren at 6500 E. 14 Mile Road starting at 6 p.m..
