We are just a day away from the weekend, and there’s a lot happening around Metro Detroit to get you in a festive mood.
First up, snow may not be on the ground yet, but you can still have a magical winter experience. This all ages experience opens tomorrow and runs through December 29. Glenlore Trails is located in Commerce Township.

The celebration of Native American Culture will feature a journey through traditional dance, music, storytelling, and more that honors the profound contributions and heritage of Native Americans. Guests will also have a chance to learn about drumming, and other cultural traditions. The event is happening Friday at 7 p.m. at the Hawk in Farmington Hills.
Next, to help you get in a Thanksgiving Day mood. There’s a play coming that’s all about family, food, laughter, and love. “Over The River, and Through the Woods,” is a heartfelt comedy about a hilarious scheme grandparents use to keep their beloved grandson from accepting a job out of state. The play, presented by the Grosse Pointe Theatre runs this Friday through November 24th at Gosse Pointe South High School’s auditorium.
