If you’re hungry for authentic Hungarian dishes, then Hungarian Rhapsody in Southgate has you covered. The restaurant is no stranger to the community. “We opened up this place 31 years ago, my wife and family,” Owner, Stephen Szatmari said.
In addition to serving up Hungarian food, fresh from his families recipes, he said the answer to the restaurant’s longevity is treating their customers well.
The food isn’t the only thing that’s native to Hungry. Szatmari said the décor you’ll see there comes straight from Hungry, including some handmade items.
Speaking of handmade, he said all of their dishes, which he describes as hearty, are made from scratch.
