Northern Michigan resort gearing up for inter activities

A short drive from Metro Detroit takes you to a winter wonderland

Although we haven’t seen much snow in Michigan, that’s not stopping Treetops Resort in Gaylord from preparing to welcome winter activities. “We have the snow makers on stand by,” said Brad Jacobson, the Director of Skiing at Treetops Resort.

He stopped by “Live in the D” to chat about their upcoming season and all they have to offer. “Skiing, tubing, snow shoeing, guided snow shoe hikes, sleigh rides, and a lot of other activities,” Jacobson said.

He said, the tubing is extreme, with 2 super steep hills. For those who like the lodge instead of the slopes, they also have cozy indoor accommodations.

The resort is currently offering packages for the upcoming season, including their Cool School Bundle.
