Craig Nash started the podcast “It’s a Grand Life” to share his journey of raising his granddaughter, Ella.
Early on, Nash realized that he and his wife were not alone in their experience. Now, his podcast has reached thousands and has featured many fellow grandparents raising their grandkids.
Over the summer of 2024, after initial success with the podcast, Nash decided to give back. The Grand Fund was created to support the mission of “It’s a Grand Life” by providing financial assistance to Grand Families and Kinship Caregivers.
So many families have benefited from the fund, including Theresa Powers who had her renter’s insurance paid for an entire year. The fund has provided throughout the state of Michigan with plans to expand nationwide.
