Try a different approach to working out this holiday season

You don’t need a boat to get rowing at this fitness studio

We are in the thick of the holiday season, which can mean indulging on holiday meals and sweet treats. When New Year’s comes around, everyone seems to want a change, but why not get a jump start on things now? The Row House Fitness Studio in Beverly Hills stopped by “Live in the D” to show how you can get a jump start on things with an old school workout that’s getting a new feeling.

“It is a whole vibe. We close the door. We dim the lights. We crank up the music. It’s a community,” Kanika Wilson, Fitness Instructor at Row House Fitness Studio said.

She said everyone in the class rows together on their rowing machines, which work out more than 80% of your muscles. She said the workout is low impact, but also resistant.

They are currently accepting class enrollments during the holiday season and into the New Year. To see the full interview, and a rowing demo, click the video above.
