The holiday season is here, and with it comes delicious treats and festive feasts. As we know, many of the snacks we enjoy comes with the unwanted calories, but there’s a way to snack smarter while still savoring the flavors of the season. Fitness and Nutrition Expert Jody Trierweiler stopped by “Live in the D” to talk about tasty, but nutritious snack options that bring holiday cheer, without the guilt of overindulging.
“Choosing healthy snacks is going to make all the difference,” Trierweiler said. She brought with her to the show some snack options that have clear ingredients, are low in sugar, and mostly low in calories.
