Ring in the new year with family fun in Metro Detroit

Try out these ideas for New Year’s Eve

The kids don’t have to stay up until midnight to have some fun on New Year’s Eve. Instead, Little Guide Detroit founder Kerry Doman appeared on “Live In The D” to share some ideas for entertaining the little ones.

First, Kerry talked about some activities that families can participate in around town. She mentioned that The Henry Ford is holding children’s activities and crafts. They’re also doing a bubble wrap pop, Kerry explained.

Legoland Discovery Centre at Great Lakes Crossing will be holding a balloon drop event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Detroit City Football Club will also have a New Year’s Eve event for kids with a balloon drop and inflatables.

Kerry also suggests checking out what’s happening at your local library. She explained that Bloomfield Township Library provided her family with a party-to-go-back with crafts.
