Whether you love Barbie, G.I. Joe, or other classic toys, you can take a look at timeless treasures during a special exhibit at the Detroit Historical Museum.
The museum is holding a Toy Town exhibit that’s filled with toys from across different generations. Guests will find everything from a wall of board games to dolls that date back to the 1800s.
“Whether you’re 90, 50, 20, or 5, you are going to enjoy coming to the exhibit because everybody likes to play,” said Tracy Irwin, the chief exhibitions and enrichment officer with the Detroit Historical Society.
Irwin also called toys a “unifier.”
Toy Town will be at the museum’s Robert and Mary Ann Bury Community Gallery through Jan. 5, 2025.
