Fans have watched him in “True Blood” and the “Magic Mike” and “Spider-Man” movies, and now actor Joe Manganiello is back in action. This time, for season two of the series “Deal or No Deal Island”.
In addition to hosting the game show, Manganiello is also an executive producer alongside Howie Mandel. Ahead of the season premiere of the show where contestants compete for briefcases filled with prizes, Manganiello talked with “Live In The D” host Tati Amare. He called it a “historic season” for television.
“This season, you’re going to watch the all-time television record for prize money in a game show be broken, so you’re watching the most money anyone has ever won in the history of television,” Manganiello said.
“I think it’s going to blow everyone’s mind,” he said.
The competition on “Deal or No Deal Island” will heat up with a two-hour season premiere Tuesday, January 7th at 8 p.m. on NBC. Then, fans can catch the series when it moves to its regular timeslot of Tuesdays at 9 p.m. beginning Jan. 14th.
