In celebration of Black History Month, The Michigan Chronicle has released a “Power 50 List” to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the community in southeast Michigan.
“We want to make sure people understand that the Black community has a very deep bench. There’s a lot of talent that is never really recognized so we take our position very seriously,” said Hiram Jackson , CEO of Real Times Media and Publisher of The Michigan Chronicle.
The list has a large variety of individuals from attorneys to non-profit presidents. WDIV has partnered with The Michigan Chronicle to create a series of vignettes showcasing the stories of people that made the list.
