The Eagles are the Super Bowl champions for 2025, but in addition to the game, people are also talking about which commercials won the night. Celebrities starred in ads for everything from Jeep to Little Caesars, but which ones hit big and which ones missed the mark? Comedians Mike Bonner and Dave Mischevitz joined “Live In The D” host Tati Amare, and guest-host April Morton, to share their thoughts on the night.
Bonner said one of his favorite ads from the evening came from Nike. Dubbed the “So Win” commercial, it starred several female athletes who had to overcome adversity to be stars in their individual sports. “I’m a girl dad. I celebrate girls who play sports,” said Bonner. “They are remarkable. All those athletes are the top in the world.”
Mischevitz talked about an ad from Detroit based Rocket Mortgage. It featured the song “Country Roads”, originally by John Denver, but song by a different artist in the commercial. The ad showed people in their new homes and ended with the line “Own the Dream”, referring to the American Dream. “We they came out of the commercial and went live to the stadium seamlessly, singing the same song, and having the banner, it was pretty cool,” said Mischevitz.
The group also talked about all the star power in the commercials, including the Dunkin' ad which starred Ben and Casey Affleck. To hear what the group thought about those commercials, click the video player above.
