From horror to feel good comedies, there’s a new release for you to catch up on. Movie reviewer Greg Russell joined “Live in the D” to talk about some movies and shows for your weekend binge.
If you’re looking for a series to watch, “Running Point” just released on Netflix. The series stars Kate Hudson and goes through the story of her trying to manage a basketball team that is falling apart while navigating dysfunctional family dynamics.
“It’s fun. It really is. I love Kate Hudson all the way. So, get a chance if you have nothing else going on this weekend pop it on Netflix.” said Greg.
If you’d rather watch a movie this weekend, both “Mickey 17″ and “Last Breath” released this week. “Mickey 17″ is a sci-fi fiction comedy film about a man who is attempting to colonize an ice planet. “Last Breath” is a thriller survival movie.
Greg rated both of these releases three out of five reels.
