The Detroit Riverfront located at Valade park is meant for all seasons and events. From chess club events to work outside days, it has an event that everyone can enjoy.
“The park is special because it looks a little bit different than some of the other riverfront parks, we’ve opened. We have so much color and vibrancy to this park space. We have an amazing play structure with a whole beach so you can come play in the sand. We’ve got behind that a hill that’s perfect for sledding and then we have all this open space where we program for events.” said Addison Mauck, public spaces manager for Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.
313 Day is currently being hosted at the Detroit Riverfront, but there’s many more events people can participate in through the Spring and Summer. To find out more about those events, click the video above.
