Detroit brands can have an influential impact on not only their community but also worldwide. TanzaTotz joined “Live in the D” in studio today to show some products that are sourced and made in Tanzania but sold in Detroit.
“When I’m in Tanzania I’m working with women, I’m assisting in creating these beautiful products. We design batik, we design the products, and I export them back and sell them here in the US,” said Geraldine Tigner, founder and curator of VAPOA and TanzaTotz.
